Bad Therapist is an entertainment product for adults aged 18 and over. By ordering, or by answering a gift questionnaire, you confirm you are 18 or over. We record that confirmation with the order. The books contain strong language and crude adult humor; they are fiction, not therapy, medical advice or a real service of any kind.
What you're buying
One personalized, AI-assisted comedy book as a PDF, plus a free intake diagnosis card image. $15. One payment is one order. The Printed Edition is not on sale. Charged once in the currency shown at checkout. No subscription.
Delivery
Usually about half an hour after payment. Some books are held for a person to read first; if that happens we tell you straight away, and it happens within 12 hours.
Your answers
Use nicknames. Leave out private or sensitive information. If you buy a gift, you're telling us about someone else, so only tell us what you'd be happy for them to read in a book about them. We remove links, handles and anything that looks like code. We treat answers as material for a joke, never as instructions. We may decline to make a book, with a full refund, if the answers suggest it isn't the right thing to send.
Gifts
If you buy a gift, you answer the questions about the person it's for and tell us what they look like. They don't answer anything. When the book is ready, we send them a link to it. They see the book, not your answers. Other characters in the book are made up, apart from anyone you add to the story yourself.
Free sessions
Reporting someone is free. The person you reported can explain themselves or skip it. The diagnosis only appears after they respond, and never invents an excuse. When AI-written diagnoses are switched on, the diagnosis is written with AI from what you both typed, inside our rules, with a fixed template as the fallback; otherwise it comes from fixed templates written by people. Free sessions are deleted after 30 days.

Your download link lasts 30 days. After that the book is deleted, so save a copy.
Refunds
See the refund policy. Short version: didn't laugh, email us within 14 days.
Sharing
Your book is yours to share. We'll never publish your book or your answers without your explicit permission.
